Marvellous March!!!
Wow!!! What a scorcher of a month March has been. Everyone is already asking me if i've been on holiday.. the sun has been shining on us and the nursery is looking beautiful!
We have had a fantastic start to the year, our feet haven't touched the ground. After such a long winter, we've had a glorious month and our customers have been out in force. We've trialled some new plants this year to test the water and see how our customers like them. Our best seller this month has to be good old Ammi majus.. a beautiful annual which we sow in the Autumn with lace like ornamental flowers similar to cow parsley. The flower is fantastic in a vase too. Some of our more unusual perennials such as Crambe cordifolia have also now all sold out, this proves that you all have fantastic taste in plants!!
We are serving tea, coffee and cakes all weekend this weekend so bring along Mum for mothers day. We are also planning a gardeners question time for a summer evening at the nursery. Our glasshouses are filling up with bedding and we are already re stocking our perennials and shrubs. Let's hope the sun keeps shining in the daytime and the rain comes at nightime! All the best to you and happy spring. Emma
